As of 2 January 1996, little Lyra is officially not so little: in just over two months she's more than doubled her weight to 13 pounds (5.9 kg), and she's now 23.5 inches (60 cm) in length. Clearly several pounds reside in her cheeks:

Yes, she really does do that all by herself. Weird kid...but then, that was to be expected. Face plants aren't her only trick, though; she continues to strive for a balanced diet of sleeping positions:

Sadly, the problem is spreading - and, even sadder, so is the snoring:

Well, the bird doesn't snore, at least. (So far.)

Definitely gotta hate those pits. Fortunately it was winter at the time... But seriously, this is a baby with scholarship in her blood. Just look at that adoring face, completely ignoring Mom:

Dad loves it. Just a couple more years and she'll be wearing one of those funny robes herself, you betcha.
