ABOUT SUZANNE
Suzanne graduated from Roanoke College in 2005. She is the circulation manager at Brain, Child Magazine in Lexington. She also works part-time as a copy editor at The Roanoke Times. She enjoys playing with her dog, Jack, and watching M*A*S*H.
ABOUT BRAD
Brad graduated from Roanoke College in 2004. He is the senior agent of the Geek Squad at the Best Buy store in Roanoke. He enjoys playing video games, listening to music and watching movies.
HOW WE MET
Brad and Suzanne met through their mutual major in English at Roanoke College. They fortuitously ended up in the same group in Dr. Paul Hanstedt's Intro to Literary Analysis class. Two years later, they were reunited in a Shakespeare lab. In class one day, Suzanne forgot her Shakespeare book and Brad asked her if she would like to use his book. She said yes, and romance was born.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Brad told Suzanne that he had to go to Roanoke College to make a donation because he had pledged some money and had never turned it in. Suzanne protested but eventually agreed to go along. Brad parked the car in 'their' parking lot, the one behind the college library where they used to eat Sheetz in between classes. As they walked down the path alongside the library, Brad got down on one knee and asked her! Then they happily went home (sans making a donation to RC!).

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
Suzanne and Brad's wedding is taking place at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga. They visited Callaway about two years ago on a Spring Break trip through Georgia. As they visited the resort's attractions, they decided to take a look at the chapel. As they walked down the steps to the site, they passed another couple who were just leaving. They asked Suzanne and Brad if they were scouting a place for their wedding. Not yet!
