A $100 iPod?
Maybe... maybe not. I'm still pissed I haven't been able to connect my Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox 3 to my Mac... as soon as Apple came out with the iPod, the relationship between the companies got colder than sitting naked in a bathtub full of ice burning money. Those bastards... I've got 20GB of music that will never see my Mac or Musicmobs!

(Happy new year!)
I think that will be a nice product. Since the price of a iPod is rather steep compare with MP3-enabled walkmans, most of my friends don't choose (and can't afford) to buy one. But they also said a $100~130 product from Apple would be much more acceptable. What Apple Taiwan needs most is a Asia/Pacific iTMS to strengthen the package.
That said, I doubt that iPod/miniPod/iTMS will increase the market share of Macs. The whole concept of "Apple" really don't suit our culture. For instance, because computer parts are everywhere for one to buy, students prefer to DIY rather than to buy from a brand. And... people here really like to pirate stuff, especially games and movies, and a M$ box does that much better.
